When you take a multivitamin, you should take it daily so that it maintains a steady state in your system. I take Natures Plus Source of Life which is a high quality, high potency vitamin - here is the info:

You can get it with or without Iron (Fe). I would talk to your doctor about the Iron, since you already take Iron during your period. But I would also take the ingredients and brands of the multis you are considering to your doctor for his recommendation.

Brands such as Centrum at the grocery store really aren't that great so I think they are more a waste of money. If you are going to take a multivitamin you should take a high quality one.

Yes it can. However, to tackle such a situation, you must first find the root of your problem. Why are you tired? Are you not getting enough sleep, or is your sleep interrupted (be it sleeping disorders or external factors)? Try to get at least 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night.

Other things that could cause body aches other than exercise would be stress, depression, and other mental factors.

I'm not a doctor, so you should probably check with a real one (and not Dr. Google either--go to an actual, live doctor) to verify this information. Here's what I remember from high school biology class about what happens when alcohol and prescription drugs mix:

1) If Abilify is processed by your liver, the alcohol might be staying in your system longer without being broken down. When you keep drinking at a steady rate throughout the night, you might keep getting more and more drunk because each shot takes longer to leave your system.

2) Many antidepressants are synthetic versions of the same feel-good chemicals you get when you drink (the names I remember are serotonin and dopamine, but there are more). It's a complex and delicate system, which is why you probably had to go through a long process of finding the right medication and dosage for you. Pouring a bunch of alcohol on top of those carefully balanced chemicals can have unpredictable results.

3) The effects of mild drunkenness could be combining with some of Abilify's side effects (drowsiness, maybe?) to produce a severe reaction.

Tl;dr answer: Stop drinking, and if you can't stop, talk to a doctor about whether another medication would be a better fit for you.

the white spots in the throat is a classic sign of bacterial infection, and just because you have one thing doesn't mean you have another thing as well(blood shows a virus AND throat shows bacteria infection). also strep and mono are two specific strains of bacteria of the millions that exist, also the test isn't perfect, the longer you have the infection the more accurate the test is but within the first few days the chance of a false-negative is around 25%.

it is important that you keep taking the antibiotics, if you stop while the infection is still present the bacteria will build up a resistance to the antibiotic you are using, not only is that a problem for you but anyone you inadvertently infect as well. that's why we have penicillin resistant bacteria today.

regarding the effects of steroids that really depends on which steroid you're taking, you're body already uses steroids for certain chemical reactions and cell communication, estrogen for example is classified as a steroid.

I have to join a drug treatment program which will last 8 weeks, and during those 8 weeks i will have to take 2 randomized urine drug tests. the counselor told me that the drug test will test for every drug, although i'm not so sure she was telling the truth, because i heard that those drug tests only test for specific drugs. so she told me i can't smoke weed basically, or do other drugs, or else i will fail the test.

now, Spice (which is believed to contain the chemical JWH) became illegal in California as of some months ago. back then i remember reading that it wouldn't show up on a drug test. now that it is illegal in California, is it possible that they already tweaked the test (one website claimed this could take years) to include JWH? even though it is illegal now, i know a guy who works at a smoke shop that secretly still sells Spice, but i don't know if i want to take the gamble.

no and no. this is a big myth when it comes too vitamins, basically the idea is that because a specific vitamin or mineral is used by your body for some specific purpose, calcium for bones as an example, that taking more of that chemical will make that part of your body better (more calcium equals stronger bones) but again this is false, your body doesn't look at what you're consuming and say "oh there's more calcium, ill make these bones even stronger now" instead your body simply uses what it needs and excretes the rest in either urine or feces.

also there's the cost problem, you don't need to by these things in pill form, if you want vitamin C eat an orange, if you want Vitamin D drink enriched milk, or eat enriched bread, or if you're skin is light go outside (you're skin makes D out of sunlight but melanin which darkens skin blocks that effect)

Yes, it really can be terrifying.

The feeling of being litterally dragged away from reality is the worst.

The first time I did it I did X40. I sat on my friends living room floor and thought I was on a train...

The second I thought a piggy bank was a cat turning into a catterpillar and my friends face was a clock...

The third time I was a horse galloping across the XP hills background...my friend was a cat sillohuette and my other friend and boyfriend were the baby sun from Teletubbies...I stopped doing it after that...

If it makes you feel uneasy and nervous, don't do it, because i'm sure it really messes with minds despite how little time it goes on for.

Have some pineapple sage tincture going, used fresh leaves, and it doesn't really smell like pineapple sage.

Have lemon balm growing, and hear that it only smells like lemon fresh instead of dried, so may use that fresh to make tincture.

Sports Med is an awesome field but the hours are ridiculous for very little pay. You can go into physical therapy and work in a sports clinic. You can also go to medical school and specialize in orthopedics where you get a lot of sports related injuries and even become a team physician. If you are really interested in exercise you can also get involved with strength and conditioning programs or personal training. There are also different specializations in physiology like exercise physiology if you are interested in research. The college I went to had a sports medicine internship, but if you want to major in sports medicine make sure you chose a school with a degree program. You will get your degree in 4 years then take the certification exam, then most often become a graduate assistant with a college sports program. If you aspire to become an athletic trainer for higher level sports programs (collegiate/professional) you will need a masters or doctorate to make yourself more competitive in the job market. I would start with talking to the athletic trainer at your school or local sports medicine clinic and ask to shadow them. The best way to find out if you like it is to dive right in! Open Question: Antidepressant question?

I'm 15 and I have double depression and I went to the psychiatrist and he prescribed me Cymbalta 30mg. about two weeks ago.

The first day I took it I felt insanely happy, which was weird because I know antidepressants aren't supposed to work like that, but I felt really weird and like my heart was racing. The first week I took it I felt like this. I was having weird side effects like excessive yawning and feeling tired but really awake and happy. I was supposed to move up to the 60mg. after a week but I decided to stay on the 30mg. until all of the side effects subsided.
On the second week I started feeling depressed again and now I feel like crap and like they aren't working at all and like I should move up to 60mg.
Why is this happening? Has anyone else felt like this on Cymbalta? It's my first antidepressant to take and I really hope it works.

Also I used to take ecstasy a lot, do you think it could have to do with why the antidepressants are reacting weird? And do you think if I talk to my psychiatrist about feeling good the first few days, he'll think I'm lying?

The therapy was comfortable even though it was 90% group therapy. The girls and guys were divided into different rooms and hallway because they didn't want any distractions affecting your progress or treatment. It wasn't affective for me because I continued on for another 3 years cutting. But the staff was caring and they really did try to be understanding. It was not a regrettable experience all in all.

He was accused of raking over the ashes bringing up old stuff (1 year old) yet it seems to be perfectly acceptable for anti-altmeders to bring up studies decades old.

I was accused of not knowing anything about how the immune system works.
Now I will admit my knowledge of it is not as good as when I sat exams on it but I did have to sit some papers on it and do some study on it.

What I would like to know is where are thee swathes of people who contracted Swine flu while they were perfectly healthy (no underlying chronic conditions or compromised health) that subsequently died?

In NZ every single Swine flu patient that died wasn't very well to start with. The number of people that died from swine flu was.........
......Strangely similar to the number of people that die from flu every year when there isn't a pandemic. Funny that aye!

No one is saying flu isn't potentially lethal but is there a case to vaccinate everyone including those not at risk for the hell of it when the reactions from the vaccine were so bad?

I was just wondering how I might be able to cure an upset stomach? My stomach just recently started hurting, and I having really been eating anything. After it started hurting, I tried to eat more to see if I was just hungry, but that's not the problem. I've taken Pepto Bismol countless times, and it just doesn't seem to be working. I don't feel like I have to throw, just go #2 all the time. My family just thinks that its allergies, but I don't. I've thought that I may have food poisoning, but am unclear as to what the symptoms are. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

It depends on the method you choose to take it. Parachuting will give you a mild high. It's usually not as exciting of a high as ecstasy, but it almost feels like a mild roll with more anxiety.

Saying "5 pills" doesn't really help me answer your question because the dosage could be anywhere from 5mg to 50 mg, but yes there is of course a possibility of overdose, just don't be stupid about it.

So, yesturday I went to see Deadmau5. Which was ******* SICK. But, While I was there, there was obviously tons of people smoking weed throughout the day. Even people selling and doing acid and ecstacy right by me, asking me if I wanted any. (didn't take any). But During Deadmau5, I felt different all the sudden, like while I was dancing I felt out of place. Like **** wasn't real. I felt like I was in a dream. When I looked around it was hard to focus on everything, I had to pick one thing. If I looked at my friend, it looked like looking through a fish eye lense. Reality just didn't exsist. I tried getting out of the crowd for a minute cause we were very close and I felt a little claustrophobic. When I did, I sat down but fell because gravity just seemed off. When I was looking at the light show, I was happy, dancing, and just ******* having a great time. But when I left and walked around, it looked like everyone was out to get me. Everyone and everything was dark and scary.

My question is, was I high off of weed? Or could this be ecstacy.
I left my water bottle in my backpack, and this guy asked me for water. I didn't think anything of it.

What cramping pain? With diarrhea none of that exists. Food poisoning may give you the cramping but the diarrhea is when your butt muscles just won't hold the flood gates closed. If you are really bloated, the expolsivive force is equal to that of a small nuke. It just does not drop out, it blasts out with farts or gas explosions happening at the same time. The backside will feel both releaved and sore at the same time and it looks like hell inside the toilet as it blasted sideways as well as straight down.

Eat more fiber. Cherries do the damage naturally(if you eat a few handfuls, fresh off the tree)[6handfuls minimum]and sour cherries work better than bing or lambert(which are sweet cherries but they still will work just not as fast)

If no cherries look for Senna leaves. With that take a fair pinch and put in a strainer
Boil some water and with the strainer over a cup pour yourself a cup of Senna tea. Hardly any taste to it, but slowly sip it down. It lubricates everything and when it is time to go it aid in letting it go. It works. After 3 days of having the tea once a night, bingo. Not a massive amount but what came out came out of a greased tube. So no pain and full control.
Senna can be got in Bulk food stores . In my situation it was because of the amount of medication I was taking plus the Swine Flu seemed to wreck havoc with my guts..

Now that you've been coughing so long, you've probably irritated your throat a lot. First of all, use cough drops (the best is ricola) to repress the cough somewhat and sooth your throat. Also, take mucinex to clear the mucus out. It actually works. If you have asthma than use your rescue inhalor every 4 hours and a nebulizor once a day. I had that cough for half a year (ruined my basketball season) and it lasted long after they said it would. Trust me, it will go away. Be patient.

Exercise in the evening. 45 minutes of intense physical activity (89-90% max heart rate, which for teens is around 160 recommended, so keep heart rate between 128 and 144) will help diminish anxiety, and the endorphins released during exercise will help you feel good. Cooling off also helps to trigger sleepiness, so after you shower, lay down immediately as your body cools off from the exercise.

5-HTP is a natural supplement where the body converts the substance into serotonon: more serotonin will automatically make you feel better. Try it with 100 mg, if that's not enough try 200 mg daily. The benefit of this one is that it will NOT lead to weight gain, it helps to relax(you sleep better), and it controls your appetite(I take it, so I know it works).
These 2 supplements are taken by a lot of people. Add a good fish oil to this regimen because fish oil(at least 1000 mg)is very good for the brain......that way you might be able to beat depression and won't have to deal with the side effects of prescription drugs....
